The desk can be moved between the two units on wheels. There are also four drawers of storage and two cabinets that have doors. Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm), with a wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models have an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used for sleepovers or to create additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for more information).
Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This allows the children to have their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means that they don't have to take up valuable floor space with bulky shelving or wardrobes.
A few of the models have gone a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storing toys and books.
